Essay

The method of calculating the critical modes of "locking" of the flow in the compressor gratings at negative angles of attack profiles in the blade rows is developed in this thesis. The generalized characteristic modes of "locking" of flow in the compressor gratings at negative angles of attack are received for the first time and there are recommendations which have been developed in the calculation of dynamic stability of multistage axial compressors of gas turbine engines.
