Essay

The systematic set of the experimental values of differential cross sections of formation is resulted positively and negatively charged pi- mesons in the collisions of ions 208Pb+208Pb at energy sqrt(SNN)=17,3 GEV on the pair of nucleons in the system of centre-of-mass. The detailed comparison of formation of the charged pi-mesons at different energies and aiming parameters is conducted. Detailed Monte-Carlo modeling of 208Pb+208Pb ions collisions at sqrt(SNN)=17,3 GeV was performed using the EPOS, HIJING and UrQMD generators.
