Levchyk N. Biological-morphological peculiarities of Vitex L. genus representatives in conditions of Right bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to researching of biological, ontogenetical and biochemical peculiarities of three species of Vitex genus representatives in introduction conditions. It presents the history of introduction, describe natural and cultivation areals, peculiarities of cultivation and diversity of plants use in the world and Ukraine. Phenological phases of plants growth and development have been researched with connection to temperature and weather-climate conditions. Morphological characters of vegetative and generative organs have been determined. Age state of Vitex plants ontogenesis, resistance to water limitations, cold resistance and physiological state of plants in stress conditions have been determined.
