Essay

The object of the research is the process of comparing visual information (images) on the basis of parallel optoelectronic KVP-transformation methods and means of eye-processor type. The purpose of research is to increase the accuracy and speed of operations of image comparison and expand functionality of opto-electronic means of visual information processing by the application of the improved method of KVP-transformation on the basis of logical-time key identifiers oriented towards modern optoelectronic element base. The methods of the research are the following: the method of signal processing theory, theory of artificial intelligence and object recognition, mathematical analysis, heuristic and structural synthesis, apparatus of logic-time functions, and computer simulation. Theoretical results: for the first time the method of logical-time "key-identifier" for parallel image comparison; for the first time mathematical model and method for determining image mass center; method of KVP-transformation is improved; mathematical model of multi-level logical-time function is improved. Practical results: algorithm and structure of the device for determination of the image mass center is developed; structural schemes of the means of image comparison are developed; the structure of the optical-electronic device for parallel image comparison with pre-centering is improved; structural and electrical principal schemes of multifunctional optoelectronic modules based on the modern element base are modified; software package. Degree of implementation - the results are introduced in the academic process in "Gervin" company, of Vinnytsia National Technical University. Scope (field) of application: image processing, computer vision system.
