Essay

Object of study: interaction process of material of ferromagnetic wire with longitudinal and transverse magnetic fields. Purpose: development of methods of control of magnetic characteristics of power cables wire armor with influence of geometrical parameters Methods of study: method of Fourier and special functions at modeling of tangential and normal components of transverse magnetic field in cross-section of wire, electric measurement methods, at determination of effective magnetic permeability of wire. Theoretical and practical results: applying of method gives ability of determination of effective magnetic permeability of wire for tangential component of magnetic field. Novelty: method for control of effective magnetic permeability of ferromagnetic wires of power cables armor is developed, effective magnetic permeability of spiral samples in longitudinal magnetic field is determined. Results: results of dissertation are used on PJSC "Plant" Yuzhkabel ", and in studying process in the Department of cable technics NTU" KPI " Scope of application: Cable and electrotechnic industry.
