The research is devoted to intersemiotic study of various genres of folklore (cosmogony and anthropogenic legends, bylytsi (real stories), pottery songs, calendar rites, children's games, lullabies, zabavlyanky (entertainment of babies), proverbs, sayings, riddles, beliefs, signs, magic formulas etc) with elements and motives of pottery themes as cultural text; reconstruction of mythological, ritual and semiotic functions pottery and earthenware, world outlook concepts on potters based on folkloric texts; complex and multidimensional ways of presenting pottery in traditional culture.
