Rud N. Phyto-monitoring of technogenic pollution of garden and park landscapes in conditions of a megalopolis

The historical stages of landscape development in Ukraine are analyzed and the phyto-indicative research and monitoring in the city conditions is conducted. The summary information is provided about edapho-climatic conditions of growth and development of plants at the M. M. Gryshko NBG.The levels of air pollution from stationary and mobile sources were studied. Clear correlation between the degree of damage, morphological changes in dendro-indicators and quality of the environment in different parts of the botanical garden was established. The risk levels for aerotechnogenic pollution of surface layers of atmospheric air are reviewed considering the values of combined effect of pollutants on vegetation in landscape gardens.
