Morska T. The features of the border region rural territories development

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical and methodological substantiation provisions and development of practical recommendations for the border region rural development. In the paper we have outlined the nature and specificity of rural development, proposed the comprehensive approach to its development, generalized the foreign experience of public policy regulation of rural development, offered the mechanisms of its implementation in Ukraine. The analysis of Transcarpathian region rural development characteristics is realized, given the assessment of the rural territories economic development in context of the impact of cross-border cooperation for their development. Methodological approaches to reform administrative-territorial structure (ATS) and local government, as the an important factor of activation rural development territory are explored. The approaches to the formation regulation mechanism of cross-border relations and the rural areas inclusion to the world economic ties are offered.
