The оbject of research High-voltage electro-discharge installations for electro-pulse treatment of aluminium melts. The purpose of research: improvement of construction principles of high-voltage electric discharge installations for electro-pulse treatment of aluminum melts which is based on the adjusting parameters of discharge currents and spatial heterogeneity of electric force influences, which provides the improvement of structure of the aluminum casting. Methods of research: physical and theoretical modeling of processing of electricpulse treatment of melts, spectral and statistic analysis, termography and metalography analysis. Theoretical and practical results and innovations: improved of construction principles of high-voltage electric discharge installations for electro-pulse treatment of aluminum melts which is based on the adjusting parameters of amplitude and frequency of discharge currents and spatial heterogeneity of electric force influences; the new methods of increase of intensity electric force influences on aluminum melt volume are developed; in first the optimum range of parameters of electro-discharge installation are devoted; the new industrial and laboratory installations with power to 5 kW and by the specific energy expenses of to 2 kW/h on 1 t of fusion are developed; subject degree of introduction: were used in Institute of pulse processes and technologies of NAS of Ukraine, Physico-technological institute of metals and alloys of NAS of Ukraine and agreements with Dongs San Tech Co, Republic Korea. Sphere of use: electro-discharge installation for metallic melt's treatment.
