Essay

Object of study: the process of functioning of the computer network of automatic identification systems. Objective: to decrease packet loss ratio and increase the speed of information transmission network of automatic identification system due to redistribution of traffic information based on a singular wavelet analysis. Methods: methods of wavelet transforms, queuing theory, optimization methods and operations research methods of the theory of dynamical systems and statistical methods. Theoretical and practical results: the method for short-term forecasting of data traffic in a computer network, which is based on the use of the singular wavelet analysis has been used in the company "HARKSPETSPROMPROEKT" (Kharkov) in the development of long-term plan of scientific and technological activities. The method of redistribution of self-similar traffic in a computer network based on the use of wavelet analysis basic functions, was tested in the design of a computer network at the State Enterprise "CKB" Proton "(Kharkov). The results of the thesis are used in the educational process of the Department of Information Technology and Multimedia Systems National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (2010-2014 years). Scientific novelty: for the first time developed a model of traffic on computer networks of AIS, which, unlike the existing ones, based on the use of the singular wavelet analysis, further developed method for short-term Forecasting KM AIS traffic through the use of a singular device wavelet analysis; improved methods of redistribution of traffic on computer networks through the use of AIS for short-term forecasting, and accounting processes converge.
