The thesis is devoted to important scientific task, which is to establish the dependence that exists between the parameters of the electromechanical system operating mode and its efficiency, determining the optimal mode conditions and its implementation by control of the power consumption of the compressor. In solving a problem the mode settings of the system, which significantly affect the level of energy losses in its elements, are determined. The mathematical model to determine the optimal value of the upper limit of the pressure in the network for a series of "descent - pump" air ensuring maximum efficiency of the electromechanical system is made. The problem of parametric optimization mode of the electromechanical system is solved. As the objective function value used the efficiency of system, calculated in each cycle of two-position control of compressor power consumption. It is proposed a new way to control a power consumption of compressor unit, that allows on basis of a minimum number of controlled parameters to define points off the compressor, the implementation of which will provide optimum mode settings, increase the efficiency of the system. Experimentally proved that the application of the developed method of control with increasing consumption of compressed air system efficiency growth rate increases. Experimental studies confirm the reliability of the research results.
