Dissertation is devoted to research aimed at reducing the dynamic loads acting on the metal structure of the bridge crane by applying the spring-ball buffer devices.Proposed a new spring-ball-crane buffer device, in which the ball is applied gear and are defined relationship between spring force and the force pressing for the triggering of and recovery of the buffer. It has been established, that the strength of the springs in the buffer decreases, and its energy efficiency increases with an increase number of complete sets of balls.It has been established that the rigidity of such a buffer is variable and depends on the number of complete sets of balls and stiffness of the springs.Experimental studies have confirmed the theoretical dependence of the ability of a spring-ball of the buffer to absorb the energy of a moving of the bridge crane.
