Essay

Based on the sources first involved in the scientific use the character of the agricultural relations in Bulgaria in the period of 1944 - 1989 is revealed. The features of public administration and regulation of agricultural production in Bulgaria are examined. The effectiveness of the impact of the government on the development of the agricultural sector of the economy of Bulgaria in 1944 - 1989 is analyzed. It is established that non-economic methods of planning and industry control were inherent to the agricultural policy of the Bulgarian Communist Party. The features of cooperation of agricultural production, operation of cooperative farms, the level of their material-technical provision and professional training of staff are defined. The process of cooperation developed in four forms: cooperative farms, combined cooperatives, state farms and agricultural-industrial complexes. The process of change of ownership and management, the nationalization of land resources, social and property status of a farmer-cooperator are revealed.
