Zhezhera M. Algae of diverse water bodies of Left-Bank Polissya

The thesis is dedicated to studying of the species composition of different types of Leftbank Polissya water bodies. Synopsis of algal flora of Leftbank Polissya was compiled, systematic structure was analyzed. 327 species were found for the first time in explored area, 225 species in Ukrainian Polissya zone; rare species were identified; representativeness of some algal flora objects in the protected territories was estimated. Distribution of species diversity of algae in different types of water bodies was determined. Ecological and biological characteristics of algae were presented. The comparative analyses of algal flora between Chernigiv and Novgorod-Siversky Polissya as well as between Leftbank and Rightbank Polissya were conducted.
