Nechyporenko K. Correction and development of self-esteem of socially and deprivated adolescents with disability

In the thesis was done the theoretical analysis of the views of foreign and domestic scholars on the issue of self-esteem, its essence and components, especially the correction and the development of the studied phenomenon of the socially and deprivated teens of boarding schools is accomplished. The analysis of the stated stage of the study allowed to find out the status of development of self-esteem problem of this category of students, to justify its correction and development tools, to identify the causes of inadequacy, to develop and implement a program of development and correction of the socially and deprivated teens with the means of socially significant group activity. The formative phase results of the study showed that the implemented by us program «Correction and development of self-esteem of socially and deprivated adolescents with disability» is effective when it is carried out systematically, step by step and covers all areas of vital activity of students.
