Essay

The object of study: the formation of surface layers of materials by atom-ionic deposition. The objective: to develop the mathematical and computational models of low-temperature surface layers modification processes by atom-ionic fluxes which helps to predict materials' nanostructure and physical characteristics. Methods: methods of theory of probabilities and mathematical statistics, stochastic processes, statistical physics and numerical methods of solving differential equations. Theoretical and practical results: the mathematical and computational models which allow to investigate the processes of structure formation by atom-ionic fluxes to get surface layers with required properties. The novelty: the method of molecular dynamics with color noise and the methods of processing data of nanomaterials' simulation were developed. Realization: in the NSC "KhPTI" experiments on surface modification by atom-ionic fluxes and in System analysis and control department (NTU "KPI") in learning process in the courses "Theory of Probabilities and Mathematical Statistics" and "Numerical methods". Implementation: vacuum and ion technologies.
