The thesis presents a new theoretical foundation and urgent scientific problem solving - features the diagnosis and surgical treatment of elderly and senile patients in glial tumors of the brain hemispheres to optimize diagnostics and clinical outcomes i.e. life quality. There was analysed semiotics medical imaging glial tumors of the brain in older patients. Clinical and morphological comparison of gliomas of different histological structure and localization. Features of proliferative and apoptotic activity and risk factors of postoperative complications in gliomas of the cerebral hemispheres in senile and elderly patients. Designed and optimized scheme of diagnostic and treatment of gliomas of the cerebral hemispheres in elderly and senile, building on the general condition of the patient data, localization of glial tumors and provides a differentiated approach to the treatment with innovative navigation and laser technology, which reduced rates of postoperative mortality to 1,6%.
