Essay

The object - the maximal runoff of spring flood the rivers Dniester River basin; purpose - the development of methods for determining the design characteristics of the maximum runoff spring flood of rivers of the basin the Dniester River; methods - the mathematical statistics, the geographical generalization, the mathematical modeling; results - for the study region improved scientific and methodological basis for the valuation of the design characteristics of the spring flood maximum runoff of rivers, based on the structure of the limiting intensity; method implemented in two variants - with application of layers runoff (for the Carpathian part of Basin) and the maximum snow cover and precipitation during the flood period (for Podolsk and parts of the Black Sea Basin); had updated the calculated values of maximum water discharge of spring flood by methods to ensure security; within the framework of proposed technique proved possible to model flow in the climate, if, instead of layers runoff applied maximum snow storage and precipitation during flood periods; on the example sublimely the flat part of Dniester River basin were determined coefficients of climate change using data and models CCSM3and HADCM3 for different scenarios and time periods; novelty - the rationale and implementation of the example of the Dniester River basin design characteristics of the spring flood of the model the limiting intensity; the degree of implementation - implemented; area of application - hydrometeorological units, water agencies, local governments.
