Essay

The thesis is dedicated to solving scientific and applied problems, consisting in the creation of scientific bases and technology improvement out-of-furnace treatment of steel melts. With the use of modern methods of physical and numerical simulation obtained new information about the features of hydrodynamic and heat transfer processes in foundry ladles regular structure with filter partition and blown from the bottom of the argon. Quantitative regularities of motion of the hydrodynamic flow of the melt at different intensities of blowing an inert gas through the bottom tuyere device using the method of orthogonal central composite planning of the second order are ob-tained. On the basis of solving for problem the global extremum of spatial coordinates of the optimal areas enter additional material in the cavity is investigated foundry ladle are determined. The advantages of the proposed technology treatment of steel melts in casting ladles are proved theoretically and experimentally The technological recommendations for changes in industrial technology out - of-furnace treatment of cast steel are developed and issued.
