Lobchenko G. Phytoindication of the windbreaks of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe zone

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the formation of forest ecosystems of windbreaks of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe zone. There were analyzed soil and climatic conditions in the region of research in terms of biotopes formation in agricultural landscapes. It's researched the top fertile soil under a canopy of windbreaks and on the adjacent agricultural fields into a number of physical and chemical parameters. It is substantiated the application of long-term climate data for determination of soil moisture classes of windbreaks. Living ground cover under a canopy of windbreak has been analyzed in his species composition, cenotic structure and projective cover rate. It's determined that the living ground cover projective percent depends on canopy density and light transmission of stands' canopies and it's found out that mostly forest species have dominated in phytocoenotic structure of grass vegetation. It were calculated indices of species phytodiversity. It was revealed that most diversity of living ground vegetation is inherent for stands with high canopy density with advantage of indigenous species in woody vegetation. It was analyzed the existing space-parametric structure of forest components in forest-agricultural landscapes and given recommendations to the production about how to improve ecological and economic potential of forest-agricultural landscapes.
