Essay

Object: Ukrainian women's movement in terms of Canadian ethno-socio-cultural environment. Objective: determining of the role of Ukrainian women's movement of Canada in the life of Ukrainian community, its place in providing comprehensive assistance to Ukrainian liberation movement at home. Methods: historical-genetic, historical-comparative, typological, problem-chronological, biographical, scientific synthesis, bio-historiographical analysis. Results: for the first time developed a periodization of activities of Ukrainian women's organizations, reconstructed cooperation of Ukrainian women's organizations of Canada with the international women's movement, uncovered part of Ukrainian women in the Canadian women's movement for civil and political rights, represented the life and creative way of the separate members of women's movement.
