Essay

Object: socio-cultural processes among the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada. Objective: analysis of activities of Ukrainian combatant organizations in Canada in the post-war period of the XX century. Methods: analysis, synthesis, historical and typological, problem-chronological. Results: for the first time comprehensively studied chronicle of Ukrainian combatant movement in Canada in the 50-80-ies of XX century, developed a periodization of activities of Ukrainian combatant organizations in the studying period, exposed the position of combatant movement in the process of implementation of government policy of denaturalization and deportation, shows the contribution of organizations combatant into the development of military-historical science, considered institutional and extra-institutional manifestations of socio-cultural life of combatants in terms of emigration.
