Barsukov O. Bryophytes of Kharkiv region

The inventory of bryoflora of Kharkiv region is conducted, its taxonomical, ecological, geographical and coenotic structure is found out. The theoretical and practical aspects of bryophyte diversity conservation at regional level are considered. The frequency of occurrence analysis is carried out and the attributes of bryophytes, which positively and negatively associated with local rarity, are found. A draft of the Red List of bryophytes of Kharkiv region is proposed. The urban bryofloras of Kharkiv, Izum, Balakleya and Kupiansk are investigated and their specific structural and quantitative changes under influence of urbanization are analyzed.
