Essay

The actual problem of assessment of welded joints fatigue in case of complex local stress-deformed states of structural elements with different schemes of live load was solved. The procedure of bridge finite-elements model creation for analysis of local stresses in welded joints as well as procedure of appointment of the design characteristics of fatigue resistance were developed. Engineering method for fatigue design check of railway and road bridges was developed.
