Frolov D. The agroecological basis of pheasant breeding in terms of south-eastern Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the basics of agroecological breeding of pheasant in the south-eastern part of Ukraine. The analysis of population dynamics of the obtained and introduced hunting pheasant individuals has revealed that increasing the number of pheasant farms didn't result in a significant increase in introduced species. The figure of eggs incubation suitability proposed by the author which is based on the correlation between their linear and weight parameters, has proved to be more informative concerning their quality in comparison with the shape. The anatomical and morphological characteristics of eggs are assumed as a basis for modeling of metapopulation management of hunting pheasants.
