3. Dissertation is dedicated to integral assessment of flowering bushes represented in amenity planting and collection funds of botanic gardens in Kiev, which included series of field laboratory studies, aimed at discovery biological and ecological distinctive features of research kinds of plants. Integral research of flowering bushes represented in plantings of communal use in Kiev and collection funds of botanic gardens in Kiev was carried out which allowed to assess their biological and ecological distinctive features. An inventory was conducted of flowering bushes in 100 parks and 35 public gardens of Kiev, quantity structure and frequency of occurrence of plants was defined. Moreover, it was established that in 100 of explored parks flowering bushes are absent in 28 objects, that makes almost quarter from general quantity. Based on the results of long-term phenological surveillance it was discovered that with climate warming in the district of studying one can notice substantial changes of phonological phase of initial blossom to earlier time, whereas sequence of blossom of flowering bushes remains the same. Based on received information phenorythm types were defined and created a calendar of plants' blossom of 218 kinds of flowering bushes. Among studied kinds of flowering bushes growing in parks and squares of Kiev, plants of 14 kinds (62 %) belong to the potentially allelopathical active group. To the middle-active and low active group belong 4 kinds each correspondently, which corresponds to 19 %. For the purpose of creating long lasting and high decorative phytocompositions it is necessary to take into consideration crucial factors of the environment together with biological and ecological features of flowering bushes. The results of analysis of ecological structure of plants of 218 kinds of flowering bushes reveal (frost-resistance, winter-resistance, attitude to light, humidity, nutrient status of soil), that in species composition there are samples with different level of resistance to each separate factor.
