Snigirova A. Peculiarities of phytopsammic community formation in the north-western part of the Black Sea

The ranking of priority factors of sandy supralittoral is undertaken. The experimental and nature data allow making prognostic estimation of total abundance of microalgae and input of separated groups in conditions of granulometric composition of sand changing. For the first time an ecological-floristic review of microalgae from sandy spits of the studied area was conducted. The character of the distribution of microalgae in three habitats on the coast of the Gulf of Odessa was presented. 100 taxa of algae were found in phytopsammon, of which 8 species were new for the region and one species new for the Black Sea.
