Kolesnyk O. Molecular genetic polymorphism of bread wheat varieties and associations of microsatellite loci alleles with agricultural valuable traits

Object of study: alleles of microsatellite loci of bread wheat varieties and their associations with agricultural valuable traits of wheat. Molecular genetic methods. Scientific novelty of the obtained results is to study the allelic diversity of microsatellite loci in samples of modern varieties of the South of Ukraine. The molecular genetic characteristics of modern bread wheat varieties originated in Plant Breeding and Genetic Institute and registered during 2003-2013 years were obtained, varieties were differentiated and identified according to the allelic composition of microsatellite loci. Intravarietal heterogeneity and the distribution of allele frequencies of microsatellite loci were investigated and molecular genetic registration certificates of modern bread weat varieties according to allelic composition of microsatellite loci were created. The associations of the allelic composition of microsatellite loci and agricultural valuable traits in genotypes of varieties adapted to the growing conditions of the South of Ukraine were detected. Modelling of the minimum required system of microsatellite markers for differentiation and identification of unique varieties of wheat with a common origin from the same breeding center was fulfilled.
