Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of actual problems of traumatology and orthopedics, which is of practical value - improving treatment results of patients with multifragmental diaphyseal fractures of extremities. Main technical shortcomings and difficulties are identified, studied and analyzed in performance of closed intramedullary osteosynthesis multifragmental fractures of long bones, an original system of flexible wires is offered and developed which enables free manipulation of bone fragments, release bone marrow canal of debris closer to parent bone fragments lying, remove interposition of soft tissue, an original surgical technology is offered of closed intramedullary osteosynthesis. Implementation in trauma practice of offered method of osteosynthesis allowed to improve anatomic and functional outcomes of patients with multifragmental fractures of limbs, reduce dis-reregenerations, improve quality of life for those who are affected.
