Essay

Three new nuclear reaction cross sections for 156Dy(n, p)156Tb, 162Er(n, p)162(m+g)Ho and 172,173Yb(n, x)172Tm reactions were measured experimentally for the first time. Additionally 21 nuclear reaction cross sections were measured with much higher precision.The analysis of (n, 2n), (n, p), (n, a), (n, x) and (n, n'a) nuclear reaction cross sections was performed based on our results, available experimental data from EXFOR database and evaluated data from nuclear data libraries, different systematics, theoretical calculations using the codes EMPIRE 3.0 and TALYS-1.2.
