Essay

The object are processes of electrical energy parameters transformationin in power factor corrector with quasiresonant pulse converter. The goal is active power factor correctors' improvement - namely, increasing their energy efficiency by developing and debugging control system of power factor corrector with quasiresonant pulse converter, switching at zero current (QRPC-ZCS). Methods of research: theory of electrical circuits, theory of linear and nonlinear pulse systems, automatic control theory, operational method, mathematical apparatus of modified Z-transform and Fourier transform, mathematical and simulational modeling. The main scientific results: for the first time, the use of quasiresonant pulse converters with parallel resonant circuit, switching at zero current, is approved as the power stage of two-loops power factor correction systems with the main current loop; for the first time, the transfer functions of two-loops control systems of power factor corrector based on quasiresonant pulse converter switching at zero current, with the main voltage loop and the main current loop, are developed; the analytical apparatus describing electromagnetic processes in power factor corrector is improved, it is extended to the case of quasiresonant pulse converters with parallel resonant circuit, switching at zero current, which simplifies further study of the effect of the resonant circuit on the quality of the input current, weight and size parameters and quality stabilization of the output voltage. Applications areas are electrotechnical complexes and systems containing rectifiers of small and medium power.
