The dissertation contains theoretical and experimental study of situational actualization of universal values as a factor of electoral selection of students. While the study of the literature sources it was revealed that the existing concepts of connection of the basic values with the features of electoral preferences show insufficient attention paid to the study of situational changes in values and their impact on the electoral preferences of itizens. Electoral selection is seen as an act by which a person prefers one political force of a number of possible. Situational actualization of values is defined as increasing importance of certain values under the influence of situational stimulus.
