Object: the process of formation and development of Ukrainian historical Slavic studies in Eastern Galicia 19th century. Aim of scientific work is to study the complex historical-Slavic heritage of Ukrainian scientists in Eastern Galicia in the context of the establishment and development of Ukrainian Slavonic 19th century. Practical value: materials, theoretical principles and conclusions of the thesis can be used to prepare papers on ancient, medieval and modern history of the Slavic countries.
