An important scientific problem of establishing the laws of influence of belts velocity adapted to the dynamics of the cargo flows in whole complex of extensive conveyor system taking into account technological conditions (overload nodes, conveyer length, angle of setting etc.) on the power consumption of the main conveyor transport is solved, which creates conditions of additional improvement of energy efficiency. The regularities of cargo flows receipt from production face depending on the complex power consumption are determined, which allows evaluating the efficiency of the main belt conveyors. The regularities of changes in power consumption at the main conveyor transport under nonlinear dependence of the power consumption on the amount of coal on the conveyor are established, which allows determining the energy efficiency of transport systems at the design stage by calculation methods. A mathematical model of coal flow changes that takes into account speed control of the conveyor belt, the length of the conveyor and statistical parameters of incoming freight flow is offered. The economic feasibility of using controlled drive for several conveyors installed in a row at a limited number of financial resources is proved to improve energy efficiency in transport.
