Essay

An important task of increasing the diagnostic process efficiency for the respiratory diseases through the creation of information technology of physician decision support based on spontaneous breathing characteristics is solved. The spontaneous breathing informative characteristics based on analysis of respiratory cycle indicators are determined. The method of determining the patient’s spontaneous breathing function state is developed. The method unites the obtaining of primary indicators of ventilation lung function, the calculation process of respiratory cycle indicators, the criteria and decision rules. Method allows to classify the state of patient’s spontaneous breathing function by ventilation lung function informative indicators. Information technology of physician decision support based on spontaneous breathing characteristics on the basis of suggested method is designed. The information technology ensures the implementation of the three modes: the controlling and visualization of spontaneous breathing function critical states, spontaneous breathing function state monitoring in pulmonary patients, spontaneous breathing function state determining for diagnostics and also providing the digital and visualized information to physician for the further therapeutic and diagnostic decision making.
