Essay

The thesis is devoted to the design and technology optimization of brazing with controlled stress-strain state of the sintered pressure seals for electron-beam gun of welding and spattering machines. Computer modeling shows the increase in thickness of kovar current contact jaw from 0.3 mm up to 0.8 mm results in stiffening effect of joint during the maintenance because of the decrease of Y axis motion by 95 %. The minimum current contact jaw thickness should be 0.4 mm with the vertical displacement no more than 0,06 mm. It is determined that the current contact jaw thickness increase results in rise of the maximal tension stresses concentrated on inner and outer lateral faces of ceramic ring near conjunctions, and can cause disruption of brazed junction.
