Essay

Object - the process of achieving cross-border effect of border regions cooperation. Purpose - development of theoretical and methodological positions how to achieve the formation of cross-border effect of border regions cooperation to enhance their socio-economic development. Methods - system analysis, comparisons and analogies, economic and mathematical modeling and correlation and regression analysis, graphical and mapping, strategic and system-structural analysis. Novelty - forming theoretical foundations of achieving cross-border cooperation effect, methodological approaches to the analysis of its impact on the border regions and offers practical advice for achieving cross-border effect through the introduction of its intensification mechanism. Results - the effect of cross-border cooperation intrinsic characteristics is investigated and formed its theoretical basis; the factors influencing effect are identified to promote positive actions or counter the negative development; formed a methodical approach to the analysis and assessment of transboundary effects, according to which assessed border regions of Ukraine; the analysis and classification of cross-border projects to find ways to achieve the cross-border effect o of border regions cooperation; substantiated the choice of strategic alternatives achieving cross-border effect; the mechanism of cross-border effect strengthening is formed through a set of instruments, the information provision formation and use of economic and mathematical modeling. Implemented - by the state, regional and local authorities in the process of management of the cross-border region and ensure that the cross-border effect. Branch - Regional Economy.
