Voloshchuk N. Regional peculiarities of development in the sector of small entrepreneurship

The economic sense and role of the small entrepreneurship in social and economic development of the region are substantiated. The elements of supporting entrepreneurial activity are defined with structuration of influencing factors, kinds and models of entrepreneurship, social benefits and functions of the state in the process of optimization of activities in the sector of small entrepreneurship. The analysis of regional peculiarities and preconditions for development of small entrepreneurship is conducted. The main tendencies, opportunities and threats for development of small business in Ukraine and Transcarpathian region are defined by means of ranking assessment of competitiveness and investment attractiveness of the regional development. The competitive advantages of the region are outlined in the context of investment and business climate, which is caused by favorable institutional conditions for business based on simplified approaches to starting new businesses, trust to local governments etc. The conceptual approaches are suggested to development of favorable entrepreneurial environment based on forecasting tendencies of development in the sector of small business, using extrapolation method, which will support the activation of activity of regional economic entities in the sector of small entrepreneurship
