Shatalova L. Formation of the mechanism to ensure economic self-sufficiency of regions

The object of the study is the formation process of mechanism of the ensur ing of economic self-sufficiency of regions of Ukraine with taking into account of up-to-date upheaval s of economic reform. The aim is t he develop ment of theoretical and methodological bases and reasoning of practical recommendations about the formation of mechanism of the region economic sustainability ensuring, with taking into account of the potential opportunities and features of region 's development. Methods of the research : logical, monographic and content analysis; analysis of hierarch ies ; fuzzy logic and expert evaluations, statistics, standardization, m ethod of integrated and rating evaluation ; scenario approach. Theoretical and practical results : it is designed the methodologi-cal base for the rational manage rial decision making regarding the maintenance, evaluation and management of a certain level of economic self-sufficiency of regions. Scientific novelty : it is developed the existing theoretical principle s of forming procedure of the provision mechanism of the region 's economic sustainability in conditions of growing influence of the information component of the economy on business processes. The degree of implementa-tion : the results are used in practical activities of: the Department of Economic Development, Trade and Industry of Lviv Regional State Administration (certificate №1-11-2832 from 22.06.2015); Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Odessa Regional State Administration (certificate № 04.1-16/2244 from 11.06.2015); Institute of Economic and Legal Research of the NAS of Ukraine (Luhansk Branch) (certificat e № 83/12 from 16.04.2014). The results of the thesis are used in the Odessa National Economic University in teaching process and for the methodical support of the discipline "Regional Economy" (certificate № 01-17/1227 from 19.06.2015).
