Essay

The object of research - mountain beech forests of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The goal - to find rational ways and methods of reconstruction and overhaul of mixed fir forests Precarpathians based on their knowledge of forestry features and ecological potential use of site conditions. Research Methods - reconnaissance; Forestry-taxation; silvicultural; selection; soil science; variation statistics; measurement methods. Scientific novelty - the first time the region has modern pedigree structure and determined the main share basic rocks of breed stands consisting of beech forest types. The current structure of species was studied and a share of the type-forming species in the stands of beech forest types was determined for the first time in the region. A number of errors that occur during planning reforestation measures beech forest types are found. The necessity of completion of evaluation and selection structure tin diversity best beech stands tall within the zones. An efficient technology to ensure high quality appearance vegetative renovation beech and experimentally confirmed the possibility of creating its crops without tillage in areas highly productive from the stands. Deep and supplemented with information on the areas of dynamic changes in the species composition of the stand of beech forest types, lots of security and self-seeding grow up, their quality as under forest canopy and on the frame, and the peculiarities of forming young stock of natural, artificial and combined origins. Practical meaning. On the basis of constant objects seeds base beech calculated and actual harvesting volumes seeds raw reasonable prospects for expansion and management of seeds beech base for adequate provision for forest enterprises seed, storage technologies and growing further planting material in forest nurseries. The results used in the preparation of departmental guidelines, which are co thesis. Recommendations were pilot production test and successfully implemented in state forests in 2012.
