Essay

The object of the study is the formation of the entrepreneurial potential of the region. The aim of the research is the development of theoretical positions, methodological and practical recommendations for development and implementation of the entrepreneurial potential of the region. To achieve these objectives were used the following methods: systematic and structural analysis; dialectical; method of expert evaluations; induction and deduction, analogies and comparisons, economic and statistical analysis; economic modeling; forecasting and planning. Novelty of the research - developed scientific and methodological principles of formation and realization of the entrepreneurial potential of the region, with construction of three-level invariant model of entrepreneurial potential (national, regional and local level), also were selected mediators and catalysts of its influence. Results - improved concepts of the entrepreneurial potential of the region; methodical approach to the evaluation of the formation of the entrepreneurial potential of the region and its implementation; approaches to identifying and assessing risks and threats in formation of the entrepreneurial potential of the region; improved approach to determining the competitiveness of the region and the impact of the special mediator of its formation - the entrepreneurial potential; developed strategic directions for the formation and development of the entrepreneurial potential of the region on the basis of balancing the national, regional, business, social and individual interests considering of globalization trends of impact on the development of entrepreneurial capacity. Field of knowledge - development of productive forces and regional economy.
