Liventsova K. The connection of the prevalence, the features of the course and the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus with ecological factors of the environment

The object of investigation are patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in different ecological regions; purpose is to determine the influence of ecological environmental factors on the prevalence, course, and the efficiency of treatment of SLE; methods are clinical, instrumental (electrocardiography, radiography, sonography, echocardiography), atomic absorption spectrometry, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, physicochemical, hygiene, statistics; novelty and results: for the first time it was established SLE prevalence in different ecological regions, connection of the nature of the disease with the contents of xenobiotics, essential and toxic elements in the air, soil, drinking water and groundwater, the degree of loading of the atmosphere with the wastes of leading industry, energy, agriculture, automotive and rail transport with the levels of formation autoantibodies, state of viscoelastic and relaxation properties of blood, dependence of the concentration of toxic elements (Ba, Li, Pb) and Si in hair and blood in patients with SLE on the degree of pollution of air and drinking water, concentrations in soil and ground water, pathogenetic significance of the xenobiotics in the environment and in the body of patients, the effectiveness of pathogenic therapy of SLE, its dependence on environmental factors the region of residence of patients, it was identified factors to predict the course and effectiveness of treatment of SLE in some environmental areas; implemented - in practice of the MI "Center for primary health care № 1, Kramatorsk", Educational and scientific medical complex "University Hospital" Kharkiv National Medical University, rheumatological department Vinnitsa Regional Clinical Hospital Named After N.I.Pirogov and in the educational process of the M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University, National Pirogov Memorial Medical University of Vinnytsia and Kharkiv National Medical University; industry use - treatment and diagnostic process in rheumatologic and therapeutic departments, research and teaching processes of therapeutic profile in medical educational institutions.
