Essay

The object of research - pine stands and sandy soils formed on different parent rocks in terms of Zhytomyr Polissya. The goal - setting features and productivity growth pine stands Zhytomyr Polissya for assessing forest site capacity of sandy soils formed on different parent rocks. Research Methods - reconnaissance; forestry and taxation; silvicultural; soil science; dendrochronological; dendroclimatological; variation statistics; measurement methods. Scientific novelty - the comparison of the structure of forest stands of the region, depending on the parent rocks, at first were done. It was found out, that in the fresh pine forests, formed on moraine deposits, the forestry and inventory indices of pine stands are significantly higher, than on the water-ice deposits. The basic agrochemical properties and their dynamics in sandy soils on different parent rocks were revealed. In soils of fresh forests on the moraine compared to soils on water-ice deposits there are significantly more sand fraction, less coarse dust and physical clay as the profile, so and the root layer of soil. It was revealed that the intensity of climatic factors determining the main growth stands at various rocks are the amount of precipitation in July last year and the relative air humidity during the growing season of the year. Practical meaning. The main theoretical and applied results are recommended for implementation in the forestry enterprises of Zhytomyr region. In particular, the forest management activities, which are proposed by the author, of creating plantations of Scots pine on sandy soils formed on different parent rocks should be used during the organization of forestry in the pine forests of the region in order to increase their stability and performance. Certain statements and conclusions of the thesis are the theoretical and cognitive significance and recommended for use in the educational process at teaching disciplines "Plantations" and "Arboriculture" for students of forestry profile. Area of applications: forestry.
