Solovei D. Pecularities of creation and application of "New Wave" gardens at the landscaping objects of Kyiv plateau

The thesis presents the results of complex research analysis on the characteristics and perspectives of creation and application of "New Wave" gardens at Kyiv plateau area. The specifics of creation, the principles and methods of laying the "New Wave" gardens were analyzed. The foreign experience of planning of this kind of gardens was examined. Substantialized and selected decorative cereals can be used as the foundation of the "New Wave" garden in the research region. Recommendations on creation and application of "New Wave" gardens and decorative grass plants in landscape architecture were developed for the research region. The method was developed to evaluate the decorativeness of cereals as per mathematically calculated ratios of "golden ratio". The peculiarities of propagation of some decorative grass plants were studied. Based on this, the general recommendations were presented on how to cultivate the main planting material for the "New Wave" gardens in the research area.
