Dissertation is devoted to actual issues of the development of technologies and methods of identifying and mapping underground cavities by geophysical methods, prediction of regions of failure-shift phenomena of anthropogenic origin, areas of flooding, implementation of predictive assessment of their further development, working-out of methodological approach to grading the natural and man-made seismic events. Geoinformation database of geophysical, petrophysical, geological and environmental studies in previous years, carried out at the territory of the Krivoi Rog is formed. Geological and geophysical data for the analyzed area is generalized and a model of the structure of its individual sections is worked-out. The carried out studies and provided recommendations for the optimal complex of geophysical methods for allocation of underground cavities in the crystalline basement and prediction of regions of failure-shift phenomena of anthropogenic origin. The method of investigation for the identification and mapping of flooding areas by geoelectric methods in time and space within the south-western "industrial zone" of Kryvbas is woked-out. On the basis of monitoring data of hydrogeodeformation field of groundwater in deep boreholes and seismological observations over the last 8 years in the territory of Kryvbas are classified as: technogenic powerful explosions, technogenic and natural events; natural (tectonic) earthquake.
