Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the development of new energy-saving combined method of rock destruction with cavitation focusing magnetic induction. Agreed and applied scientific target to reduce energy intensity destruction by 11 % by means of making manufactured cavitation voids collapse defectiveness and reducing the rock specific surface energy (from 43,0 J/m2 to 39,5 J/m2 for gneiss and from 52,4 J/m2 to 48,7 J/m2 for granite) is solved in the paper. The following Mathematical models were developed: - rock specific surface energy different from already known for rendering possible taking into account: magnetic induction, cutters cavitation diffuser length, diameter, rock formation structural particles weight, specific heat of fusion, density. - energy intensity of rock that is different from the known that takes into account the specific surface energy and the critical crack length. Models adequacy to the real process is tested experimentally. The cost advantages of providing of the proposed method of rock destruction under production-line conditions of in PJSC "Tovkachivskyy mining processing plant" is 22 thousand hryvnas per year. Payback period makes 2 months. Keywords: energy, specific surface energy, cavitation, magnetic induction, rock formation, defectiveness.
