Sergienko L. Substantiation of the parameters of the forecast of zones of methane accumulation in coalbed satellites under conditions of tectonic disturbance

The thesis is devoted to issues of forecasting of potential zones of methane accumulation in unloading areas of underworking coalbed satellites under conditions of tectonic disturbance by the mining of sloping coal seams of Donbas. The results of experimental studies of gas emission from the underworking coal rock massif are presented and they showed that the change in the intensity of gassing in the areas of small amplitude tectonic disturbances in the working face is caused by the interaction of tectonic and technogenic jointing. On the basis of obtained results it is substantiated the criterion of forecast of zones of accumulation of methane before primary caving of the main roof in the places of local destruction of underworking coalbed satellites and the impact of tectonic disturbance, taking into account the interaction of systems of tectonic and technogenic jointing.
