The object of study: the process of electroreduction monosubstituted aquacomplexes nikelyu.Tsel work-establishing the basic laws of the nature of the influence of ligands on the chemical and electrochemical stage of electroreduction process monosubstituted aquacomplexes nickel (II) .Metody study: ab initio quantum-chemical modeling using DFT-methods, spectrophotometry, voltammetry, chronoamperometry, coulometry, chemical analysis, scanning electron microscopy, rentgenofazovіy analiz.Teoreticheskie and practical results: Based on quantum-chemical modeling analysis, it has been demonstrated that Ni2+ ion as part of hexaaqua complexes is electrochemically neutral in a cathode process. An insertion of electron into particle is limited to its localization on intraspheric water molecules. It has been identified and evident-proved that, in order to eliminate unwanted electroreduction of intraspheric water molecules in nickel aqua complexes, it is necessary to use anions of organic acids able to accept an additional electron, particularly, an acrylic acid anion, as a substituent ligand.Scope: The research results can be used to develop new types of nickel plating electrolytes.
