Essay

The thesis is devoted to research and development of energy-saving catalytically stabilized gas burners in order to improve the work of domestic and industrial units. The modern methods of preparation of new effective cellular catalysts are developed on metallic one, ceramic and fibrous silica-alumina material. Technology of causing of active components on metallic sectional filoforms included the method of ion implantation. Due to such method of preparation was significantly increased the heat resistance of solid-metal catalysts (до 1300?С), expanded the range of their use. Catalysts offered by us on the basis of mineral fibres of brand of "ALSIFLEX KT - 1600" are stable in catalytic processes at temperatures up to 1600?C. On the basis of produced catalysts are worked out designs catalytically stabilized gas burners and devices based on them. Were created laboratory experimental and industrial installations for the study of gas burners and devices. An algorithm and software (as a complete diphasic mathematical model, taking into account heat conductivity of layer of catalyst) is offered for the design of catalytically stabilized process of incineration of natural gas with the use the resulting kinetic equalizations. The results of the study found that the replacement of existing gas burners on the radiant catalytically stabilized burners contributes to a significant increase in efficiency units and a significant reduction in the emission of toxic gases into the atmosphere.
