Essay

The study scientifically explains changes of the lipids composition in the ovine serum at different stages of leukemia after the experimental infection with bovine leukemia virus. It was detected a decrease of arachidonic acid level at the stage of proviral DNA and at the stage of BLV antibodies detection. After spontaneous infection of the cows with bovine leukemia virus, there was significant changes of the lipids composition in milk and serum of cows and the increase of fatty acids saturation index of saturated. In milk cows, it was registered the decrease of all monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids levels, and the increase of oleic and linoleic fatty acids trans-isomers levels with a lower content of cis-isomers. It was improved nested polymerase chain reaction for detection of proviral DNA bovine leukemia virus on the ground of the second stage in real time PCR. It was conducted the evaluation of suitability and practical testing of the proposed modification of the polymerase chain reaction, which indicates the efficiency of its use for the diagnostic of leukemia infections in animals. It was analysed of the nucleotide sequences of isolates leukemia virus isolated in different regions of Ukraine, and their phylogenetic relationship of the recognized for today isolates of the pathogen
